

On September 29, 1934 in Fulshear, Texas a daughter was born to Jim and Hazel Jones. They named her Georgia Mae. Georgia grew up in Fulshear and attended public school in Rosenburg, Texas. In 1952, Georgia married her childhood sweetheart Aubrey C. Kelly (deceased), and moved to Houston, Texas. There they joined Mt. Siani Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W.B. Miles. In 1954, they joined New Pleasant Green Baptist Church under the guidance of Rev. H. A. King, and Rev. Charles O. Bryant. After relocating in Houston, Georgia and now Rev. Aubrey Kelly assisted in Starting up Shinning Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Alan J. Bailey, where she served faithfully. Under the union of Aubrey and Georgia, four children were born. While in Houston, Georgia worked as a Housekeeper, then later returned to school to further her education in the Houston Community College System, earning an associates degree and a vocational license in nursing. Georgia worked as a nurses aid in the hospital system, then at Golden Age Manor Nursing facility, and finally at Clairewood House until her health failed. Georgia loved caring for the elderly Georgia was preceded in death by both parents Jim and Hazel Jones, a loving and devoted husband Rev. Aubrey C. Kelly, daughter, Wilma D. Carrier, son, Peter J. Kelly, brothers: Lee Earl, James, Richard, Dicky, Henry Lee, Milton, and one sister Vivan. Georgia leaves to cherish her precious memories: Two Sons, David C. Kelly (Salem, Oregon), Joseph F. Kelly (Arlington, Texas), two daughter in-laws Ja'quetta and Renee, four grandson's David "D.J.", Cedrick, Joshua, and Aubrey, two granddaughters, Raven, and Andrea, five great grandchildren, a loving sister-in law Thelma Clark (Hockley, Texas), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
