Gertie Mae Brandon

Gertie Mae Harris Brandon was born November 12, 1947 to the late great John Harris, Jr. and Aline Cormier Harris Washington. There union was blessed with one son, John Harris Jr. of Denver, Co.,daughter, Geneva Harris Brandon, preceded her in death. Gertie Mae Brandonwas born in Rayne La., but she was raised in Beaumont, Texas. Gertie Mae Brandon, had a special aunt who also cared for her, Lorenza Reed, preceded her in death. Mrs. Brandon was an avid music lover, everyday her home was filled with the sweet sounds of music. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Karen Aline Harris Craig, one son in law, Prophet Craig, of Beaumont. Tina Andrea Charles of Houston, Texas, Bryant Keith Brandon of Beaumont, Texas. Thomas Charles Brandon of Beaumont, Texas. One daughter, Renika Ann Brandon, preceded her in death. She also leaves 13 grandchildren: Tarmesha Harris, Ernesha Harris, Jakeela Harris, Tequazeha Harris, Ernest Guillory Harris, of Beaumont, Texas. Jasmine Holloman, Markajia Holloman, Jacoby Holloman, Ernest Guillory, Kalleia Guillory, all of Beaumont, Texas. James Claudius Brandon of Houston, Texas. Nokia Guillory Brandon, of Beaumont, Texas and Jesica Brandon, of Dallas, Texas. Nine great grandchildren. Also cherishing her memory, two Aunties, Leola Harris, and Dorothy Eglin of Beaumont, Texas.
