Gertie, a beautiful lady and a gem. I knew her from Our Lady of Carmel Church.

I got to know her personally when I visited her, taking the Eucharist to her residence.

Some people come in our life as blessings. Some come in our life as lessons.....Mother Teresa🌹💜

Gertie was a blessing and lessons of true faith to me.....It was an honor to have had her in my life.

Masses in her loving memory have been offered at OLMC.

Blessings💜👼♥️

R.I.P. Gertie, You have always been such a special woman in my life. From the days of Girl Scouts, teen years, high school, and adulthood we have always been close. You were my confidant. We shared many long talks and you always gave me such great advise. You were like a second mother to me. When you stop fussing at Grady, look up Mom and share a few laughs. Just know that Yvonne and I are such good friends and we will share many stories of you for years to come. I have so much respect for you and appreciate all the guidance . Thanks for everything. Now go enjoy Heaven. I Love You. Monica

Meme oh how my heart hurts but is so happy at the same time. I can only imagine the sights you are getting to see in HEAVEN! You were there for me when I needed you the most. You helped with anything I needed. Whether it be babysitting P-Nut cleaning out my car or just a shoulder or hand to hold. I love you so much and can not wait to one day see you again. I love you with all my heart. I am so happy PawPaw doesn't have to wait any longer. You 2 have a blast strolling Heaven together.

Guess what! "YOU MADE IT!"

Love
