Gilbert was a caring son, a wonderful brother, and loving uncle. He took care of his parents until they passed away. He was willing to help his family whenever they needed him. He did not have children but he had 5 dogs he cherished; Sandy, Cody, Hurley, Blondie, and Whitey. He loved his nieces and nephews like they were his, especially Avery. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Gilbert is preceded in death by Pearl Garcia and Gilberto Ramos. He leaves behind his sister Arlene Juarez, brother in law Benito Juarez, sister Anita Ramos, Amanda Martinez, brother in law Jose Martinez, sister Alissa Pena Giron, brother in law William Giron. His nieces and nephews; Avery Ramirez, Aubry Ramirez, Madeline Martinez, Ariana Juarez, Emily Martinez, Analisa Juarez, William Alex Giron, Tristen Giron and great niece, Ava Ramirez.
Family will be receiving friends on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 4:00pm to 9:00 pm at La Roca Church located at 402 Hahlo Street, Houston, Texas 77020. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm also at La Roca Church with interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery located at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023.
