Gilberto C. Saucedo, 72, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Houston, Texas. He was born June 6, 1945 in Allende Coahuila, Mexico to Gumercindo and Aurora Chavarria Saucedo. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Guillermina Zamora, brothers, Rueben Saucedo, Gumercindo Saucedo, Jr and nephew, Rueben Saucedo, Jr. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years of marriage Maria Saucedo; daughters and son-in-law’s, Angelica M. Chapa and husband Robert, Delia P. Johnson and husband Thad; grandchildren, Isabella Johnson, Katarina Johnson, Alexa Johnson, Michael A. Chapa; siblings, Maria E. Villasana, Frances Rodriguez, Nieves Saucedo, Juan Manuel Saucedo and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5-9 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church 4419 N. Main Street Houston, Texas. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
