Ginnie V. Rogers, age 94, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. Born in Wolf City, Texas, she loved to go fishing, and was the best cook and best mother ever. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ernest Rogers. She is survived by sons, Jimmy L. Rogers and wife Wendell, Buddy Rogers and wife Gail, and Johnny R. Rogers and wife Donna; 6 grandchildren, Connie, Randy, Jennifer, Neely, Troy, and Robbie; 10 great-grandchildren, Heidi, TJ, Stephanie, Amanda, Kelli, Kevin, Alexander, Fiona, Lila, and Cora; seven great great-grandchildren; and brother, William Homer Malloy. Visitation will be held 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with the Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
