Glenn was born May 14, 1929 in Houston. He graduated salutatorian at Reagan High School and received his degree from the Rice Institute in 1950.
Glenn served in the U.S. Airforce, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. After discharge, he returned to Houston and was employed by Anderson, Clayton & Company. As a manager in Anderson Clatyon's coffee division, he was transferred to New York. After many years, he was assigned to Anderson Clayton's subsidiary Ranger Insurance in Denver.
After retirement from Anderson Clatyon and several years as a real estate broker, Glenn returned to Houston to be with his brother and family who loved Glenn dearly and involved him in much family activity. He was an active member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church until the effects of lung cancer surgery four years ago made that no longer possible.
He is survived by his brother, Melvin and Melvin's wife Margaret, three nieces and six grand nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly.
Glenn will be interred at a graveside family service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the Rice University Annual Fund.
