Gloria Tonahill Warnke, 83, our dearly beloved mother, GG, aunt and friend, passed from this earth on March 30, 2011. Gloria was born on June 29, 1927 in Houston, Texas, attended Reagan High School and grew up in the Heights where she met and later married her lifelong love, Harland.
Gloria is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Harland Warnke, and daughter, Brenda Warnke Tessier. She is survived by her son, Clifford, and wife Ann, the lights of her life, her grandchildren; R. Reese Schulte, Michelle Rodriguez, and husband Neftali, Shawn Warnke, Matthew Brandon Warnke, 2 great-grandchildren and one nephew. Gloria is fondly remembered for her vivacious personality, flamboyant color pallet, and always looking her best.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, Chapel of Angels.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. followed by the Funeral service at 2:30 p.m., officiated by Rev. James Clark
