He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Escamilla Tamez & Hermino Tamez; wife, Consuelo Flores Tamez & grandson, Steven Andrew Martinez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Cointa Tamez; sons, Gonzalo Tamez Jr., Eleazar Tamez, Victor Tamez; daughters, Rosa Martinez & Maria Tamez; grandchildren, Melissa, Christina, Marina, Michelle, Victoria, Diego & Dario; great-grandchildren, Kaili, Tyler, Simon & Catalina.
A Visitation will be held 12pm-9pm on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 11am, on Monday, September 29, 2014 followed by interment at Forest Park East Cemetery.
