Gregory Lamar Ward

Mr. Gregory Ward, of Houston, TX, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the age of 38. Greg was born to parents Carrie Ward and Isaiah Foster on February 2, 1981 in Baton Rouge, La. He grew up as the third of six children. In 2008, he married his best friend Sandy Hughes and the couple shared three children Saron Hughes, Savon Dickerson, and Sania Ward.Greg was a devoted son, dependable brother, faithful friend, and loving father. He had a passion for helping others. He knew how to bring a smile to everyone he encountered. His passion led him to the hospitality business were he worked as a front office supervisor for Hotel Icon and Wyndham Hotels.  Greg made his transition into glory  on June 30, 2019.He is preceded in death by his sister Deniecssia Ward.He grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Jack Yates High School in 1999. He attended Second Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for years but united with The Fountain of Praise Church where he worshiped faithfully until his health failed him.Greg, leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Saron Hughes and Savon Dickerson, his daughter Sania Ward, his loving mother Carrie Ward; his father Isaiah Foster, three sisters Sherria Ward, Carole Ward, and Andrea Ward  of Houston, TX;  and one brother MikeKeith Ward of Houston, TX. Greg is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
