She was born in Reynosa, Mexico on April 28, 1938.
She married Theodore Jose Hernandez on November 22, 1966.
Lupe was a devoted mother, grandmother and caretaker for family, friends and loved ones.
She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, and had a passion for caring for children, laughing often and loving her family.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Tonio Rios.
She is survived by her spouse, Theodore Hernandez; children, Rene Hernandez, Reynaldo Hernandez, Marco Hernandez and Miguel Hernandez; grandchildren, Hallie Muller, Kelsie Kahney, Kagan Hernandez; great-grandchildren, Colette Kahney and Reeves Muller; siblings, Jose Rios, Agapito Rios, Becky Foytek, and Carmen Vega.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:00am on June 20, 2025 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2730 Nelwood Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
