

Harold D. Hudson, born July 4, 1933, passed peacefully Oct 23, 2013 at home with his wife by his side. He was inducted into the United States Army in November 1953. After completing basic training, he was put in charge of Ration Breakdown for the 90th Battalion at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. Without him, 2000-3000 soldiers would not have been fed. He served his full 2 years and was discharged as a Corporal. Entering civilian life, he worked as a machinist. Over the years he advanced to a management position and was very proud of his achievements. Harold is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Delores Cosby Hudson; daughters, Patricia (Barry) King, and Janet (Tommy) Barcelona; daughter-in-law, Helen Hudson; grandchildren, Heather Estis, Jason Harris, Valerie Piwetz, Stephanie Villarreal, Christopher Hudson, and Nicholas Hudson; great-grandchildren, Breann Harris, Kaitlyn Harris, Anistyn Piwetz, Bowen Piwetz, Tyler Hudson, and Chase Villarreal; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
