Harold Lloyd Kingham Jr., affectionately known as “Curly” to his closest friends, age 80, of Houston, passed away peacefully at home on June 4, 2025. Born on May 23, 1945, in Houston, he was the beloved son of Angelina and Harold Lloyd Kingham Sr.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Lupi, his children, Deanna and Keith, his daughter-in-law, Danielle, his precious granddaughter, Ally, and his sister, Janet Greenwood.
Harold was a proud alumnus of St. Thomas High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and shared his love of music as a member of the Jim Askins Combo. He went on to earn his degree from the University of Houston and began his professional journey at NASA, where he again built lasting friendships. Harold later returned to the University of Houston, where he earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate and began a career as a Computer and Financial Systems Consultant. Over more than three decades, he contributed his talents to Coopers & Lybrand, MCI WorldCom, and KBR.
Deeply committed to service, Harold gave more than 20 years to the Ronald McDonald House in Houston, generously offering his time as an IT consultant and serving on its Board of Directors. He had a passion for photography and music and lived a quiet but unwavering Catholic faith, one he never preached but lived with grace.
Harold will be remembered for his steady presence, strong integrity, genuine kindness, and a contagious smile and laughter that brightened every room. He touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of love, humility, and quiet strength.
