Harvey Lewis

Harvey Lewis was born February 21, 1934 in Nacogdoches, Texas the son of Alvin White and Effie Tims. Both parents preceded him in death.  His early education was completed in Nacogdoches School District.    He met and married Dorothy Lois Parker in June 1955, to this union was born five children Peggy Lynn, Donald Wayne, (deceased), Harvey Alvin (deceased), Billy Earl and Jacqueline Gwenette.   He transitioned from this life to his everlasting life on the morning of Wednesday, February 8, 2017.    His career was in  commercial trucking where he was employed at Missouri Pacific Truck Lines and Jones Truck Lines until his retirement.  After retirement he worked as a security officer with Weiser Security Services.   His joy was to watch sports and spend time with family for weekly Sunday meals   He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Dorothy, brother Joe Allen, daughters Peggy(Homer), Jacqueline(Larry) and son Billy. His grandchildren Niccole(Pierre), Justin(April), Jeremiah,  Sarah and 12 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
