Hazel Mae Atkinson, born October 12, 1941 to Eugene and Odessa Allen in Huntington, Texas, passed away December 22, 2010 in Conroe, Texas. Mrs. Atkinson was preceded in death by her parents and a brother and sister. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Robert D. Atkinson; sons, Robert D. Atkinson, Jr. and wife, Karen, and Craig A. Atkinson and wife, Debra; numerous grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Garden of Memories, Houston, Texas.
