Helen was a wonderful, giving person. I worked with her "back in the day" on Vacation Bible School. She kept our small children occasionally when I needed to run some errands. We enjoyed knowing her children and watching them grow into fine adults. More recently, I was always amazed that she still served the Lord and St. Mark in organizing funeral meals. She was a treasure indeed. You leave a fine legacy, Helen.

Helen was such a wonderful person and neighbor. My times conversing with her were often in her driveway when she, in her wheelchair, would be out catching some rays of sunshine and enjoying the weather. I would intend to just stop for a moment to say hello and then find myself engaged in conversation for a long period. Her family were, rightfully, her pride and joy. She was such a sweet, encouraging christian lady. While we miss her, we know the world is a better place for her having been in it.
