Henicy D Marques Jr died June 6, 2013. He was born July 24, 1923 in Harrisburg, TX, the First Capitol Site of Texas. A Native Houstonian, he graduated from Lamar High School. After his WW II service in the Army and Air Force, he attended the University of Houston.He was self-employed in the Army and Commercial Surplus Business for 33 years before retiring in 1982. After retirement, Henicy re-entered the business world continuing a career in sales until March 2013. He is survived by his Loving and Devoted wife of 69 years, Elaine (Hausendeufel), Also by his two daughters; Cheryl Snider and Shelley Beck, and his wonderful son-in-law Barry. Three grandchildren; Schuyler Snider and her fiance Sean Moore, Barrett Snider and Jordan Beck. He had three great-grandchildren: Kelley, Logan(deceased) and Kourt.
