

Henry Irigoyen, Jr. passed away July 10, 2019 after a long battle with Spinocerebellar Ataxia and Dementia. He was born in 1958 to Henry and Lupe Irigoyen. Henry was a 1977 graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School. He worked as a lineman for Houston Lighting and Power Company until he became disabled.
Henry was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, and was in the Knights of Columbus.
Henry was also a DJ and loved all types of music, and he loved to dance. He will be remembered for his love of people, being a flirt, eating and socializing. He loved life and gave his best each day in everything he did.
Henry was preceded in death by his mother, Lupe Irigoyen. Henry is survived by his children Henry Irigoyen III and Herlinda; Iris Irigoyen-Leija and Jesse; step-daughter Heather Cleavelin Robilloto; brothers Mario Irigoyen and Vicky; David Irigoyen; and sisters Elizabeth Hernandez and Richard; Angela Canlas and Ramon; father Henry Irigoyen, Sr.; grandchildren Liza Overby, Miguel Gomez and Havanna Irigoyen; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023 on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m., with a recital of the rosary at 6:00 p.m.
Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 4015 Sherman Street, Houston, TX 77003 on Monday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. with internment to follow at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598.
The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Regency Village SNF. You have been loving, caring and diligent in caring for Henry during the last eight years; and to Faith Hospice for helping Henry through his last month of life.
