Henry T. Overfield, age 81 passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016. He was a loving family man who never met a stranger. Preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Phyllis M. Overfield. Survived by children, Pete Overfield, Jonny Overfield and wife Cinthia, Helen Reed, Barbara Tanton, and Janet Rex; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Gladys Matthews; brother, Joe Overfield and wife Darlene; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Triumph Christian Center, 21758 E. Hammond Dr., Porter, Texas 77365. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
