

Herman Vasquez Jr., age 54, passed away on Wednesday September 5th in his home in Houston, TX. Herman was born on September 12, 1963 to Herman and Guadalupe Vasquez. He was a dear brother to Robert Salinas & Mary Torres. As well as a proud husband to Sunshine Isbell. His greatest role and treasure in life was being a devoted father to his wonderful son Matthew, two beautiful daughters Sienna & Ariana & step father to Mercedes, Javier, Rebecca, Anthony, & Mason. He was also a dog-father to his famous partner in crime Maxwell, “the Chihuahua.”
Herman grew up in the city of Houston. As a young boy he devoted his time to playing the trombone for his school band and enjoyed playing baseball as an All-Star Shortstop.
Herman was a Patriots enthusiast, a top-notch grill-master & a golfer in the making. Herman was a man known for his generosity, sense of humor, strong voice and exquisite taste. He had a smile that lit up the room & no party started until he arrived.
Herman developed the love of business & strong work ethics through the teachings of his mother & father at a very young age. Herman was dedicated & loyal to his profession & well respected amongst his peers. They describe him as being honest and motivating, and could always count on his daily “Good morning” greeting.
He was a great friend & loving family member to many and will be greatly missed.
To honor the life of Herman, a visitation will be held Sunday, September 9th at Forest Park, 6900 Lawndale St. from 3-7p.m. & a burial service the following day, Monday, September 10th at 2p.m.
