Homer Henry, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, was born in Seabrook, Texas on January 20, 1921, the son of Ulysees and Margaret (West) Henry, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2016. Homer was preceded in death by a wife, Sadie Hanson Henry, his parents, a brother, Harold and a sister, Iva Mae. He is survived by his wife, Frances Henry, daughter Deborah Turner and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Babetta Kelly, Jason Turner, Lisa Turner-Spain; great-grandchildren, Adrianna Kelly, Corey Kelly, Logan Kelly, Kelsey Gilbert, Cameron Turner, Blake Turner, Caitlynn Spain, Samantha Spain, Landon Neal; Great great-granddaughter, Brynlee Gilbert; sister, Marie Michell, several nieces and nephews. Homer proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. He retired from Monsanto and was awarded a Gold Veteran’s Badge by the Grand Lodge of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
