He had a distinct presence that would capture his audience's attention. As a child, Manty worshipped at the Church of God of Prophecy, May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica, where he actively participated in Sunday School. As he got older Manty became a man of faith, and came to the realization that with God all things are possible. Manty was a regular attendee of Southwest Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. He loved unconditionally, and he loved the Lord with all his heart.
