

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Estella Durand Lozano, his parents; Esther and Eulogio, and six of his siblings; Sarah, Gus, Esther, Mary, Joe and Molly. He is survived by his children; Fred Lozano (Lu-Ann), Norma Oreschnigg, Richard Lozano (Petronila “Pat”), and Robert Lozano (Isabel), siblings; Rosie Martinez, Roy Lozano, and Eloy Lozano. Also left to cherish Nash’s memory are six grandchildren; Melissa, Garrett, Lindsay, Kimberly, Jessica, and Ian and eight great-grandchildren; Brayden, Joshua, Kendall, Grayson, Stella, Landyn, Aubrey, and Lucas. The memories we have of him will always be in our hearts.
Ignacio served in the Army Signal Corps during World War II. He was stationed in Normandy France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany. He enjoyed music, dancing and baseball. To all of us he was seen as a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and most significantly a war hero.
Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home located at 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at 9:00 am with the interment to follow in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
