Irene Hall

Irene was a longtime member of Tulsa Baptist Temple, Tulsa, OK where she taught 4 year old children in Sunday school for 30 years and active in child evangelism ministry. She also faithfully provided church transportation to a special group of ladies. Irene was a member of Sugar Land Christian Women's Club and the International Twins Association. She attended Denver Bible Institute in Colorado and Bible college in Salina, Kansas. Irene retired with 28 years of service from CE NATCO. She was an avid photographer and enjoyed playing the piano.

Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Margaret Lindsey, Ollie Mae Johnson, Phyllis Knight, and twin sister, Maxine Schmidt. Survived by her brother-in-law, Duane D. Schmidt; nieces, Linda and husband, Doug Burkhart, Sharon and husband, Chris Powell; great-niece and great-nephews, Brian Burkhart and wife, Katie, Christy Burkhart and Austin Powell. Also surviving are numerous other nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2013 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Services were 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1st in the Waltrip Chapel, with Rev. Rick Jones, officiating. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
