Irma Martinez, 60, of Houston, Texas passed away on August 10, 2014 while on vacation in Mexico. Known for her happy disposition, Irma enjoyed playing cards, music, dancing and parties. She loved shopping and had an affinity for shoes. Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters Nancy Martinez and Erika Martinez, sons Mario Martinez Jr. and Cesar Martinez, brother Hector Garza, grandchildren Gloria Martinez, Mario Sergio Martinez, Brittany Marie Martinez and Amada Nicole Garcia as well as numerous extended family members and countless friends. A visitation is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 5-9 PM in the Main Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale and Funeral service will take place at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 4015 Sherman St, Houston, TX 77003 on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
