Born August 20, 1952, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, she was the daughter of Vicente Virgen and Esperanza Virgen Munoz.
She retired from AT&T after dedicating 30 years of service. Beyond her career, Irma found joy in life's simple pleasures-especially at the beach, where she felt more at peace, traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her siblings, Rachel (Paul) Trevino, Dolores Villareal, and Vincent (Debra Ann) Virgen.
Nieces: Celeste (Alex) Fisch, Leah (Arturo) Meraz, Ali DeHoyos, Jessica Savala, Vanessa Virgen, and Valerie (Jason) Virgen-Roubique. Nephews: Fred Samaniego and Paul Joe Trevino. She will be greatly missed by family, extended family and friends. Special thanks to her caregivers, Kelly Mello and Rosaura Blanco.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM Friday, October 10, 2025, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, in Houston, Texas.
Inurnment will follow at 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
