Isabel Sanchez Gomez

Isabel was born in Houston, Tx on December 3rd, 1948, to Jesus and Dora Sanchez. She attended Milby High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and built the foundation for a life of hard work and dedication.

She went on to enjoy a successful career with Exxon Company USA, where she was respected for her professionalism, reliability, and commitment. She took great pride in her work and valued the friendships she made throughout her years with the company.

Throughout her life, Isabel was devoted to her family and took great pride in caring for those she loved. She found joy in dancing, reading, crafting, watching Midsomer Murders, her Astro's and her dog Molly. She will be remembered for the countless memories she created with those closest to her.

She is lovingly survived by her children Maria Campos (Jorge) and Tomas Gomez (Tressa), her grandchildren Aimee Campos (Raymond), Elizabeth Gomez (Brennon), Victoria " The Favorite" Gomez and Noah Gomez, her siblings Dora Aguilera, Mary Lou Astorga, Julio Sanchez (Myrtle), Joe Sanchez (Alice), Connie Sanchez, Amelia Munoz (David) and Rudy Sanchez (Jessica). As well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Isabel's legacy of love, compassion, and perseverance will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration for generations to come.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.

May Isabel Sanchez Gomez rest in eternal peace. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Religious Ceremony will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on July 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by a Memorial Service at the same location on July 22, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, and a Reception there on July 22, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
