We consider ourselves priveledged to have met Mr. Anderson. We will always remember his hospitality to us as strangers and friends of Jim and Dawn, on his beloved family ranch. We remember his kind and gentle nature. We also remember sharing our common experiences living in different parts of Africa. He was a very special, salt-of-the earth gentleman and will be missed by all who knew him. Our heartfelt prayers are with all of the Anderson family.

I have just learned of the death of Jack. You have my deepest sympathy. As you may well know, I lost my Jim just a bit over a year ago. Jim often spoke of Mr. Anderson or his son, Jim, when he had talked with either of them. How hard it is to lose the ones we love. This has been a long, hard year for me and I certainly empathize with you in your grief. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Jack and I spent many years together working in the Financial Reporting and Costs areas of Exxon Controllers in Libya and Malaysia. We worked a lot of late hours and Jack never let up. We also played a lot of tennis together and I wish he would have let up once in a while and let me win a game, but that never happened. He was a gentleman, a true Christian and you could also depend on him. And I have to add this. He never threw his tennis racket like some of us were prone to do. JW Boriack (Katy, Tx)
