Bill was born to Robert Dudley Ballew and Donnie Middleton Ballew February 17, 1947, in Houston,Texas. He graduated from Galena Park High School in 1966 and received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston in 1970. He married Brenda Albea in 1968, and they lived together in Houston, Texas where they raised two children.
Bill is survived by: Brenda, Timothy, Lindsay and his sister Jerrie. He also leaves to cherish his memory three grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Robert Ballew, his father, Donnie Ballew, his mother, Bob Ballew and Van Ballew,his brothers.
Bill started his own CPA firm at the age of 31, and continued to work into his mid seventies. He enjoyed being with family, lunches with his Sunday School group, and walking the local scenic trails. He was also active in Rotary at the local and district levels, a board member of the Heights Chamber of Commerce, a regular blood donor, and a Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
