James "Jim" Berryman

James “Jim” Berryman, age 84, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, who had served his country honorably in the United States Army. He retired from the Harris County Hospital District as Director of Engineering after 30 years of service. He loved the outdoors and built his retirement home on Lake Conroe. It is his desire that his ashes be scattered at his favorite fishing hole. He was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Ann Berryman; grandson, Shaun Michael Stoy; parents, Lee and Creola Berryman; and sister, Betty Jane Clark. Survived by children, Mary Kathleen Stoy and husband Bobby, Shannon Dale Acreman and husband Mike, James Patrick Berryman and wife Melony, and William Casey Berryman; grandchildren, Kevin, Michael, Brittany, Jeffery, Parker and Ashley; 5 great grandchildren; brother, William Robert Berryman and wife Margaret; and sister, Mary Constance Varghese and husband Abraham. Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060
