He passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016, in Houston, Texas.
James attended Allen Military Academy for 6 years, Texas A & M for 2 years and graduated from the University of Houston, earning his degree.
He drove an 18 wheeler for Central Freight line Transportation Company for 20 years.
James was a devout Lutheran, receiving confirmation and marrying at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Sherman (which has now been renamed.)
He loved reading and history, and especially enjoyed presidential trivia.
James had a cat named, “Ralph”, who was known by all the fellow residents at Oak Shadows Retirement as their Mascot.
