Mr. James William Cohen was born April 16, 1920 in Panama City, Panama to William and Mary Cohen. He enjoyed growing up with his sister Ivy in the beautiful tropical environment of Panama. As he became a young man he passed required exams and was hired to do various jobs along the Panama Canal with the Municipal Energy Division where he became a skilled carpenter and welder. After traveling the globe he immigrated to the United States where he eventually made his home in Cincinnati, Ohio. There he met the love of his life Dorothy Henderson. They soon married and to this union two children were born. Beyond his dedication to his wife and children, James also started his own business J.W. Cohen & Son which became a lucrative construction firm in the area. Upon the birth of his grandson, James and Dorothy relocated from Ohio to Houston, Texas. In Houston he continued his entrepreneurialism by starting Mr. Do It All a business specializing in small electrical repairs, painting and plumbing. Given his skills and attention to detail he became known as the "Handyman Extraordinaire" capable of many forms of repairs or various jobs that needed to be done. He is survived by his son Vincent, daughter Pamela, son-in-law Fredrick, grandson Brian and numerous friends.
