James Louis (Jimmy) Ragan, 84, was born and raised in Houston, Texas on January 6, 1931 passed away peacefully at his home on January 14, 2015. Jimmy lived in the home that he was born and raised in and it was a very special place to him.
Jimmy was a very important part of Medco Medical Supply for 38 years, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a very thoughtful and caring person who had a big heart. Jimmy had an immense and unwavering love for his Medco family, close neighbors and friends, and especially his dog Bonnie.
Everyone Jimmy came in contact with became a friend. Jimmy was a very respectful towards other in an "old school" way. He believed in treating everyone with respect, yes sir and no sir, opening doors for ladies and helping anyone who needed help. Life was never about Jimmy...it was always what he could do for you and taking care of your needs first.
A Chapel service will be 10am, Monday, January 19, 2015 at Forest Park Lawndale funeral home followed by interment.
