He went to college at Georgia State where he majored in physics. He then moved to Texas and then enlisted in the Navy for 6 years, where he attended subschool in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This is where he met his loving wife. They then adopted 2 beautiful children, Edward and Tonya and later adopted their granddaughter Marykay (18) and later their grandson RJ (7) was born.
The Johnson family would also like to acknowledge Kay, Joanne Hanson, Marge Page, members of the Knights of Columbus, the secondhand family and gathering group as well as members of the church for all of the prayers and condolences, and those who offered a helping hand.
