James Patrick Kerr

Pat was born to Donald Lee Kerr and Mildred Marie Kerr, July 21, 1956, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Conroe High School in 1974 and continued his education at Texas A&M University. He married Alice Cazares in 2018, and they lived together in Jersey Village, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Kerr. He also leaves to cherish his memory, 3 daughters (Alyx, Debbie and Vicki), 6 grandchildren (Vladimir, Dharma, Seth, Penny, Jasmine and Carson), Tom Kerr, (Brother), Taylor Kerr (Sister-in-Law), and 7 nieces and nephews, (Joshua, Kelly, Christie, Alan, Lee, Tiffany and Cherie), Jay Kerr, (Stepbrother), and Wayne Kerr, (Stepbrother).

He was preceded in death by Donald Kerr, (Father), [Mildred Kerr, (Mother), Ruth Ester Kerr (Stepmother) and Michael Kerr (Brother).

Pat worked as an Engineer for various NASA contractors for more than 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and sailing. He was actively restoring a historic sailboat previously owned by a NASA astronaut.

A Viewing and Celebration of Life is scheduled for Jan. 16th, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023. The family would love you to share your memories and stories about Pat during this event.
