Jane Greene Collins

Jane was the daughter of Lewis L. and Hilda (Cripps) Green, of Poland, Ohio. Born March 9, 1954, Jane attended local school and enrolled at Kent State University and continued on at Case Western Reserve, where she obtained her EFDA Dental Designation specializing in Pediatric and Child Dentistry.

Jane married her husband, Kenneth James Collins on March 1, 1980 in Mentor, Ohio and moved to Houston where she continued her Dental Career.

Jane was a very outgoing individual with a kind and generous heart, who had the ability to bring humor and happiness to those who had the good fortune to enjoy her company.

She cultivated her relationships and friendships, she was loyal and faithful to family and friends. She forgot a birthday, anniversary or milestone of those around her.

Jane was preceded in death by her son Kenneth James Lewis Collins, her parents, and her sister Katherine M. Greene.

She is survived by her husband Kenny; her brother, Britt Greene wife Judit Greene; nieces, Kelly (Chad) Volovar, Amy (Stephen) Smith, Allison Greene, and Erin Moris; great nephews, Chad and Sean Volovar and great nieces, Kate and Alexandra Smith and Paige Norris.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the kindness and dedication of the skilled nursing professionals of Concho Heart Hospice and especially Natalia Huber and to all her dear neighbors and friends who provided both care and compassion during Jane's final days.
