Our dear mother Jeanne went to be with the lord on Friday, February 22, 2019. She was born February 24, 1926 in Pompignac, France. She spent her life enjoying the beauty of flowers and the art of making women look and feel beautiful in her salon she shared for 56 years with her business partner Frances (Fran) Montgomery.
She is survived by her daughters Dominique Gallant and Gloria Ramirez; Gloria's children; extended family, Fran Montgomery, Chaplin Monty Blair Montgomery and Tanya Varela; two sisters Simone and Christian and many loving nieces and nephews in France. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, George W. Parks; her parents, Berthe and Roger Lestage, her brothers Jean Pierre, Michele and her sister Suzanne.
Family will visit with friends from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with rosary at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Forest Park Lawndale.
Pallbearers will be Adam Alvarez, Leo Garza, Pete Gonzales, Marcelino Luebano, Jose Moreno, John Varela.
