

We come together today to honor and celebrate the life of Jermaine Quintel Guidry, born on May 21, 2001, to Latoya Pitts and Gregory Guidry Jr a beloved son, brother, and friend. Jermaine’s journey in this world was filled with laughter, kindness, and an undeniable spirit that touched everyone he encountered.
Jermaine grew up in Houston, Texas, where he was known for his infectious smile, his sense of humor, and his compassionate nature. From a young age, he showed a natural gift for making people feel welcome and cared for, always putting others’ needs before his own. His family was his cornerstone, and the love and respect they shared with him was unwavering.
One of Jermaine’s greatest passions was music. He had an incredible love for creating songs, expressing himself through melodies, and sharing his heart through his craft. Music was more than just a hobby for Jermaine—it was a way for him to connect with the world and convey the emotions and experiences that mattered most to him. Whether he was writing lyrics or producing beats, Jermaine poured his soul into his music, always striving to make something meaningful, something that would reflect the love he had for the things that brought him joy.
As he grew older, Jermaine’s creativity and love for music only deepened. His passion was evident in the way he spent countless hours perfecting his craft. He didn’t just make music; he made songs for the things he loved and for the people who mattered most to him. Jermaine joined New Bethlehem MBC in 2001, under the leadership of Pastor Ronnie Matthews when he was just a young baby. Jermaine loved God and there was nothing you could tell him different. He believed in Jesus Christ, and he gave his life to him at an early age. Jermaine later joined House of Anointing Restoration Center (HARC FIRE) under the leadership of Overseer TJ Aldridge in 2015 until his untimely departure.
Jermaine attended Wesley Elementary School, Cook Middle School, and Humble High School where he graduated. Jermaine was apart of the JROTC for 4 years while in school. He also attended Tulsa Welding School. Jermaine was an aspiring artist; he had a profound passion.
Jermaine was preceded in death by grandma Debra Pitts, his Great great grandma Blanche Rivers, Great grandparents Jessie Parker, Betty Jean & George Blackmon, Doris & Wallace Guidry. Great aunt Curtis Epps, God-Mother Tiffaney Williams, Godfather Joseph Williams, and uncle Robert Powell (Redd).
A lifetime of memories of Jermaine will be cherished by his mom, Latoya Pitts (Shawn); His Children, Keion, Jerrell and Ahraylyn Bloom (Angiel Bloom); Great-Grandmother, Bertha Pitts; His Father, Gregory Guidry Jr (Jeanette); His sisters, Myesha Guidry, Alexius Guidry; Step-Sister, Ashley Santana; Brother, Trenton Shields; Step-Brother, Jordan Flynn; Grandmother, Rose Fergueson (Le Roy); Grandfathers, Fred Blackmon, Gregory Guidry Sr; Aunts, LaQuisha Ellis, Rosa Criff (Jarvis); Uncles, Kerri Guidry, Shawn Guidry; Cousin Brothers, Jaelyn King (Sydnee), Davion Thompson and Marcus Jones Jr; Nephew, Zayne Tumalosi-Santana and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and families, and church families.
