Jerry Ann Adams

Born on March 6, 1940, in Terrell, Texas, Jerry was the daughter of Frankie and Henry Wilson. She grew up with a strong sense of determination and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Jerry built her career as an officer manager, secretary and typist, known for her precision, professionalism, and unwavering work ethic.

Jerry loved the beach more than anything. Whenever she had the chance, she made her way to the sand and surf, finding peace and joy in the sound of the waves. She was fiercely independent, a woman who lived life on her own terms and inspired others to do the same.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Henson and Lyn Braunagel; her brother, Henry “Bubba” Wilson Jr.; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren who will carry her memory forward with love.

Jerry’s strength, spirit, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home,on June 5, 2026, at 1:00 pm. A Committal Service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, on June 5, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
