Jerry thrived on celebration, get-togethers, dinners, parties, and any holiday spent with friends and family. It is where his spirit and soul food were always at their prime and most memorable. Please join us for a “Celebration of Life” event in his loving, vibrant memory, and to honor him in the way he would want: together, in good spirits, and well fed.
Jerry’s very giving nature shone brightly over the holidays, with him always going above and beyond to make everyone he knew (and the rest of the neighborhood) feel the magic of the season. There’s not a house on the North Side that doesn’t have a photo with the Great Pumpkin Man he created by hand and displayed every Halloween in his front yard. He especially loved Halloween. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Scare For A Cure, a haunted house charity, in his memory.
