Jerry Lee Kneisler

Jerry Lee Kneisler, age 78, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021. He was born in Houston, Texas. Jerry graduated from Lutheran High School South and joined the Marine Corp. He was married to Nancy Kneisler on July 7, 1961.

Jerry had a life-long career in shipping and Martime at the Houston Ship Channel. He was known for being a hard worker.

He was a beloved father of Carrie (Bret) Ewing and John Earl (Roxie) Kneisler; loving grandfather, "Pop", of John Paul Ewing, Lucas Ewing, Ben Ewing, Emily Kneisler, Elayna Kneisler, Elyssa Kneisler, Rex Kneisler, and Jillian Kneisler; and dedicated brother of Jake Kneisler. Jerry was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Nancy and adored sister, Eileen Kneisler.

A celebration of life - memorial service for Jerry will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Ave, Houston, TX 77023. An inurnment will occur Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Ave, Houston, TX 77023. A reception will occur Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Ave, Houston, TX 77023.
