2026 at 11:15am. Jesse was an amazing friend, father, and husband. To know Jesse was to love him. He cracked a joke when he wasn’t supposed to. He would give a stranger the shirt off his back. Jesse loved fishing, thrifting, going to the game room and Walmart, and he was always ready to make memories with those he loved.
Jesse kept finding strength year after year for his “beautiful family,” especially his wife, Anita “Annie” Delgado who never left his side for 54 years. Jesse was 78 years old. He is survived by his wife, daughters Julie and Delia, son Jesse Jr., and granddaughters Ashley, Natalie, Alizay, Ava, Jessica and Emily, his brothers Alfred and Chema, his nieces and nephews. And to top it off his 21 great grand-children. He was reunited with his daughter Annette, his brother Frank, his parents, and many friends who had gone before him.Our lion has gone to rest and we’re sure that we will see him one day. We’re so thankful we had him so many years. He lived a humble life, surrounded by people he loved and who loved him.
The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. A celebration of life is scheduled for February 15, 2026 at Forest park Lawndale at 5:00pm.
