He is preceded in death by his son Jose Julian Escalante.
He is survived by his wife, Evangelina Escalante, son’s Jesus Jr. III, Jose Juan and David, daughter Maria Escalante and many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank all who have supported us in our time of need. A special thank you to daughter in-law Melissa Balderas for the care and compassion they showed Jesus on his final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023. Visitation with the family will begin at 12 noon - 2 p.m. on July 7, 2025.
Interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
