As I continue to look through our photos together. It’s still feels as if I can just text you call you. Then it hits me all over again and again and again I shouldn’t be having to write this.

You loved Sofia so much ❤️ I remember how excited you were when you found out I was pregnant. I’m going to pass down the esclava you bought me when I was a kid the one with hearts on the side and get her name engraved on top of mine🥲. I’m going to put her the gold earrings you bought her when she’s a little older bc she takes them off.  She likes to stick her little finger in the loop hole. I will remind her that YOU bought them for her and the $2 bill you gifted her that I have on my dresser on the mirror corner and I see it every day. I’m going to take her to visit you and continue our depth conversations. It will be a little different this time bc you won’t be able to give any advice but you were always a great listener thank you  ❤️

You were a little sad bc I was sad bc I wanted you you to take care of yourself so you would stick around for a long time and live forever but  I knew one day you wouldn’t be here and you stated, “Mija when it’s my time, it’s my time don’t worry I lived a good life.” And I cried bc I wanted you to take care of your health pero eras terco igual que yo🙂

One of many of Grandpas birthdays 🎂 we joked and said he was turning 21! I remember saying, “ I bet you he can still hange like he’s 21!” 😂

I loved showing us off I felt pride in it, I felt powerful confident something about drinking a cold one with you and hearing good music was all I needed. Like eveything was going to be ok just drinking a cold one with my dad ❤️

We went together for Mother’s Day to go visit Grandma at the cemetery. We talked about how awesome she was and how she really loved us. I remember you saying how much you wished grandma would’ve have gotten the chance to meet Mari how she would’ve loved her. And I said yes grandma would’ve approved 🙂 you looked so handsome here and I told you and you said, “oh yo soy un chico hawt” 😂 stahhp it!!!!

I always admired you even if I didnt always show it but you have no idea how much I appreciated our bond❤️

For the millionth time here I go. Dad im going to MISS YOU FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!! All of my memories will forever live within me. I’m going to miss our drinking days and our in depth conversations about life only you and I would have. Your bad Budweiser jokes, asta las regañadas que me dabas. Cuando era niña siempre me preguntabas cuánto te quería y te decía un CHINGOS APA!! Pos te voy extrañar CHINGOS! I know you loved all of your kids equally but I do acknowledge our special bond ❤️growing up I was your little chikle followed you EVERYWHERE !!! I can still hear your voice “Ando aki con LA NENAA”. All the times we would go eat at Chilos a ver “las chikas hawt” you would know ALL the waitresses and would introduce me so proudly “estas mija”. Our caldo moments en la Michoacana always ending with a shot. Our lunch dates of Connie’s in your office. Thank you for letting me throw parties in your house  letting me go to south padre island for spring break when my mom said no you said YES. Thank you for the life advice and memories. Your phones calls.  How I wish we had more time but we will embrace one another again someday. I hope you tell Toby Keith how much we would jam to his song “I love this bar” in your upstairs. Ohh so many good times upstairs. One day I told you I was terrified of being a mother and you told me not to worry that you knew I would be a GREAT MOTHER and embraced me in your arms. All though our relationship at times had our bumps, bc we were exactly alike asi como me regañabas yo tmb te regañaba. Im sorry for our bad moments and I wish we had time to repair them. I’m sorry if I failed you as a daughter or wasn’t there when you needed me most I wish with all my heart we had more time. Although we had our conversations about death and everything that comes with it i wish you would’ve listened!🤌🏼 Te voy extrañar chingos APAA ❤️ see you in my dreams & my reflection. Im running out of time.  Rest easy thank you for being my Dad ♾️❤️

Jesus was a man you could just sit back and talk about anything. You couldn’t talk over him though, and you wouldn’t want to. His stories and jokes were so captivating. He always spoke with power and such confidence. I will always remember the good times we shared and talk about it with his grandchildren. Descansa en Paz Jesus, dios te recibira con alegria.
