

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jimmy Sixto Wise, who left us peacefully on January 31, 2024, in Kingwood, Texas, at the age of 78. Born on May 15, 1945, in Corpus Christi, TX, to the late Theresa de la Garza Wise and George Wise, Jimmy was a man of exceptional character, known for his unwavering integrity, quick wit, and the ability to make a friend of anyone he encountered.
Jimmy's life was one of service and achievement. After graduating from Bellaire High School and furthering his education at the University of Houston, he honorably served his country in the Airforce as a Sergeant, where he was a Forward Air Observer during the Vietnam War. His military tenure spoke volumes of his dedication to duty and country.
In his professional life, Jimmy was the epitome of a born salesman, with a career that spanned several notable companies, including 3M, Houston Cellular, and Costco. He was revered by colleagues and clients alike for his extraordinary salesmanship and customer service, often being recognized with awards for his excellence.
At the heart of Jimmy's world was his family. He is survived by his loving daughter, Christine Marie Kobeck, son-in-law Michael Kobeck, granddaughter Jacqueline Kobeck, grandson Collin Kobeck, son James Robbins, and daughter-in-law Babette Robbins. His legacy extends to many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory. Preceding him in death were his parents, his sister Maria P. Ramirez, and his brother Henry Wise.
An enthusiast of sports, Jimmy's support for the Houston Oilers, Texans, and Astros was unwavering, and he took great joy in spending time with his family and friends…he was always the life of the party!
A Celebration of Jimmy's Life will be held on Tuesday, February 13th starting with a gathering at 9am and the service at 9:30am at Earthman Resthaven at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. Burial will follow at 11:30am at Houston National Cemetery at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr
Houston, TX 77038.
The family suggests that those wishing to honor Jimmy's memory may make a charitable contribution to the Wounded Warriors Project.
