Jo Lynne Kessler
July 18, 1936 – April 9, 2019
Jo Lynne Kessler was born in Conroe, TX on July 18, 1936. She entered Heaven’s gates peacefully on April 9, 2019 out of Willis, TX. A loving wife and mother, grandmother and aunt, cousin and friend, we will all miss dearly.
Jo Lynne, meet her husband Walter Charles Kessler, Jr. after he came home from the Navy in 1955 and they soon married, while he worked full time with Roadway, she raised three sons. They lived, worked, went to school in the North Houston area. She was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. She was a homemaker and spent most of her years enjoying cooking, baking and crafts. She enjoyed making crafts for gifts or to sale and going to craft shows. She enjoyed preparing meals for her family, most especially over the holidays. She enjoyed making sweet treats with her grandkids, teaching them to bake and decorate cakes. Towards her later years as her eye sight failed her, she loved to “listen” to food tutorials and cooking channels up until her passing, although it ended up only being Pioneer Woman 24/7 on repeat, lol.
Jo Lynne was predeceased by her loving husband, Walter, her parents, George and Ethel Taylor; her siblings, Charlotte, Robert and George. She is survived by her children, Walter, Dale and David and wife, Martha; and her grandchildren, Rachele and husband Richard Snow, Ryan, Chanda and Brandon and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Trystan, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones who again, will all miss her dearly.
