Jo Carlos Murillo

Carlos was a very kind and caring person who always helped those in need. If there was ever an issue, we always knew we could rely on him. He always found a solution to any problems we encountered.

Jo Carlos owned a wallcovering and painting business where he always found a place for anyone who needed work.

He was a member of the Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Hispana-Central, where he enjoyed spending time and volunteering.

Carlos enjoyed spending quality time with his daughter and granddaughters, watching movies, playing board games, and eating popcorn.

He enjoyed taking care of his plants and sitting on his porch.

We will miss his wisdom, strength, and his kindness. We will miss seeing his smile and hearing his laughter.

He is survived by his daughter, Adriana Murillo; his son-in-law, Omar Meraz; his granddaughters, Ashley and Anabelle Meraz; his siblings, Lourdes Murillo, Santos Murillo, Maria Roquelia Murillo, Oliva Murillo, Merced Murillo, Everardo Murillo, Hugo Murillo, Agustin Murillo

A memorial service will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on March 16, 2023, at Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Hispana- Central, 6518 Fulton St, Houston, TX 77022.

There will be a reception following the service.

A church service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Hispana-Central, 6518 Fulton St, Houston, TX 77022.

The burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 N. Frwy, Houston, TX 77060
