Joan worked as a nurses aid for 42 years in the nursery at Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas, serving with steady dedication and a quiet strength that touched countless families. Her work was an extension of who she was—devoted to helping, thoughtful in every task, and generous with her time and care.

Joan was a singe mother to her son Troy Allan and was a caregiver to her mother on her last days. In her family life, she showed the same faithful commitment and resilient love that defined her throughout the years.

Joan loved gardening and was active church activities. These interests brought her joy and reflected her kind-hearted spirit and enduring devotion to her faith and community.
