Joe P. Carranza

Joe P. Carranza, 66, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 9th, 2020. He was born in Galveston, Texas to Luis and Ramona (Patino) Carranza on December 2nd, 1953 and stayed in the Houston area all his life. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend.

He leaves behind the love of his life and best friend of thirty-five years, his wife Virginia Carranza.

Left to carry on his legacy are his children; Joe Carranza Jr. and wife Tiffany, Alicia Rogers and husband Anthony, Jesse Carranza and wife Nicole and Ernesto Carranza and wife Lydia, Veronica Zelaya and husband Alex; his beloved grand-children Richard Paul Bustamante, Ryan Bustamante, Rex Bustamante, Kaisen Rogers, Kamden Rogers, Kyle Carranza, Makya Carranza, Kate Carranza, Emerson Carranza, Asher Carranza, Brianna Zelaya, Brian Zelaya, Ashley Zelaya, Brian Robles, Israel Carranza and Arialena Carranza. He is also survived by his siblings Luis Carranza, Alex Carranza, and Dolores Carter.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Luis and Ramona Carranza and his brother Carlos Carranza.

Visitation for Joe will be held on Friday, September 4th, 2020 at 9am with a Memorial Service at 10am in the Chapel at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home 13102 North Freeway Houston, Texas 77060. Inurnment will also take place that day in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
