Joe Roy Taylor, 92, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016. Joe was strong in his faith and devoted to his family. In his early years he enjoyed working on computers and had a passion for restoring classic cars. Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons Michael Taylor & wife Debra and David Taylor & wife Karen as well as grandchildren Shane Long and Amy Wallace & husband Jason, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter on the way. Also left behind are his beloved dog Lulu and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 5-9 PM and a funeral service will be officiated by Reverend Worth Hewitt on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11 AM. In lieu of traditional remembrances the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in Joe’s name.
